Election season is officially underway at ERBM! Seven candidates are running for three open seats on our board of directors. The election will take place Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
At this election, you’ll be voting for candidates running for four-year terms. Here are the nominees:

Kevin Borchard
Pete Doan
Lacey Rykhus
Michele Morgan
Andrea Gianinetti
Byron Rollins

If you're a District voter, here's a quick breakdown of how the election works, and how to vote if you can’t make it to the polls on Election Day.
📆 When is the Election?
The election will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
🗳️ What Type of Election Is This?
This is a Polling Place Election. That means in-person voting will take place on Election Day at the following location:
📍Fairfield Center
200 Main St.
Meeker, CO 81641
🕖 Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
✅ Who Can Vote?
To be an eligible elector in this election, you must be:
Registered to vote in Colorado and
One of the following:
A resident of the District
A property owner (or the spouse/civil union partner of a property owner) within the District
Someone paying taxes under a contract to purchase taxable property within the District
📬 Can I Vote by Mail?
Yes! Even though this is a polling place election, you can still vote by mail by requesting an absentee ballot.
✉️ How to Request an Absentee Ballot
If you’d prefer to vote by mail, you can request an absentee ballot by contacting our Designated Election Official, Cathy A. Kiser.

🗓️ Deadline to request or return an absentee ballot: April 29, 2025
You can also request a replacement ballot if something happens to yours.
🗂️ What About Permanent Mail Ballots?
If you’d like to receive a mail ballot automatically for future elections, ask Cathy about signing up for Permanent Mail Ballot Status. It’s a great option if you prefer voting from home!
